Bluebird Vehicles - Making Transport Accessible

Founded in November 2003, Trailertech Services Ltd was set up to service the mobile scanner trailers that are a familiar sight on British roads, while Bluebird Vehicles Ltd was created to build on the expertise of the on-site Blue Bird UK team including vehicle design, purchasing, manufacturing engineering as well as the critical workshop skills and experience to design and produce special vehicles.

Occupying 40,000sq ft of the old Plaxton's site in Scarborough, the Bluebird team designed and built a range of Low Floor accessible minibuses, which quickly established a reputation for innovative design and quality build.

Bluebird supply vehicles to Local Authorities, Community Transport Groups, Leasing and hire companies, and private operators throughout the UK.

As we added other services, we decided to simplify the whole identity under one name – Bluebird Vehicles Ltd.

Under this brand we are developing into a centre of expertise for many vehicle-related activities:

• Re-seats to increase capacity on coaches and buses
